... I was going to call it the final good-bye. But that sucks and sounds way sad. Besides, this isn't good-bye. Nor is it the end. But a brand new beginning. For all of us.

Anyways. Many of you have probably noticed by now (at least one would hope~ *smacked*) that I've been gone for, um... quite a while now. And I do apologize to everyone, especially those of you who worried about me.

So most of you reading this are probably wondering what this is all about or why I left, or something like that. See... it first started when I just never really had much time to upload anything anymore. Then I wasn't able to visit much. After a while, people had been sending me emails and such saying how they wanted me to draw this and that for them (not quite sure why. |3; )... I feel as though I haven't really been drawing for myself. Like I've been drawing just to please people. Like I've said so many times before: Draw because you love to do what it is you do. You really shouldn't depend on what other people think. It ruins the whole point of doing something you enjoy. We all have talents and we should take advantage of them in the best way we can.

It wasn't just that, though. I don't mean to offend anyone, but there's just been so much drama and all that going on around here ... it's just gotten way too much for me to handle. You all may know that I'm they type of person that cannot just step over some one sad or troubled. I always have to throw in whatever helping words of encouragement I can. I just got so caught up in stuff like that... that it seriously started affecting me much more than I should have let it. I was just so preoccupied what what other people were up to and how they were doing. I spent hours upon hours at this place when I could. Then I didn't pay much attention to my studies and my grades started slipping. Things started happening to me that I couldn't prevent altogether but could have prevented from turning out as bad as they did had I just spent a little more time focusing on them. It just... it was hard...
I don't mean to sound like a 'Debbie Downer' or 'Negative Nell' or whatever, but I just don't really know where I'm headed right now. I only have two years of highschool left and I'm still not sure I'm going where I'm supposed to. So I just need to be away from things like this.

So yeah. This is the final goodbye. From this place, at least. It was fun and I had some good times and made great friends.

HOWEVER there are still many, many ways you can still contact me. Because I know that there are people out there who still love me, and I love them back. And I'm sure that whoever they are, that they would be delighted to know that there are at least... more than two ways to reach me! ...And I shall list every single one I can think of for your convenience.

I'm totally sorry I haven't been around a whole lot like I said I was going to try to.
School and stuff. It's starting to get a little overwhelming. D:

Ah, yuss. Here I am again. This time I brought along with me a little friend; his name is Mr. Anger. :3
Now, I'm not exactly "mad' about this, I just wanted to bring this to your attention and show how I feel about stuff like this.
Sorry if it gets kinda long. ;0;

Anyways, I was talking to a good friend of mine here on DA (will keep them unnamed) when she said something that really got my attention: "...but I just wish a lot of people like my artwork... it just makes me sad just looking at it. I mean, I only get 1-3 comments when I post my pictures and photos. "

That really got me thinking. Especially since I've felt that way many times before... I wanted to make her feel better so I started pouring out all the wisdom I had for her:

"Well, you know... my dad always told me- and other people tell me this, too- that you should draw, paint, sing or whatever because you love to do what it is you do. You really shouldn't depend on what other people think. :3
I personally like what you do and how you do it.
Each person is different. Even if two people draw the same exact thing, it won't actually "be the same". It might look different because they have different styles, or because they put different amounts of work into it, or they felt different emotions while woking on it. (Ha, sorry if this isn't really making a lot of sence... |D;;; )

[But] to me, popularity is probably the least of my concerns. I really don't care how many page views I get, or how "popular" my pictures are. (which they really aren't if you think about it. xD) Because I'm not really after popularity, I just want to do what I love to do. Not because I want people to like it, or to like me because of what I draw. You know?"

Now, I may not be some kind of philosopher or anything, but when I see someone down in the dumps, I try to make them better. Especially when their story strikes me as one of those "tug-at-your-heartsrings" kinda things, one of those kind of stories that connects to you personally, I try all that I can to make them better. Especially since I've gone through things like that.

But the media and society have been really pushing popularity, and it makes the more common (I guess you could say) people feel bad about what they do. Even if what they do is great, they still don't feel good about themselves because few people know about what it is they do.
Not that I'm saying being popular is bad, I'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying that people who are popular and flaunt it really annoy me. Because they make themselves seem all high and mighty, when there are people out there that could be just as good as they are, yet nobody knows they exist.

Now, I don't wanna go all "Jesus" on you people... but I just want to let you all know that God gave each and every one of you gifts (or "talents"). Maybe you know what it is, maybe you haven't figured it out yet.
Weather or not you believe in God isn't what I'm saying here. What I'm saying is that, people, you have gifts. Whatever it may be, use them to the best of your ability, and do it because you love it.
And who knows, maybe you get even better at what you do, or you might even discover that you could do something that you couldn't do before; a new talent!
Don't be afraid to try new things, and try not to care about what people think...

"Just do it because you love it."

Yuss, today marks the last day of my "summer vacation". Too bad it didn't last that long. Rather, too bad it didn't SEEM like it lasted long, or whatever. I didn't even get to swim. *koff* Ok I did. Twice. At my cousin's house... uh, but it didn't count coz it wasn't my pool. >>; See, my pool has had no liner for the past 5-or-so months now. So it's just been a big empty hole in the ground. DDD:
Anyways, I digress.
Going back to school means I'll have even less time on the compy and less time to draw than I did before, which wasn't a whole lot to even begin with. *sob*
And I'll also have to limit my IM time to the weekend unless I finish homework early enough. (My teachers always give us tons of homework. And it's hard. So that sucks.)

On another note, I noticed that the last thing I uploaded was that abysmal Pikachu thing I made for my mom...
Yuss, I'll try to upload at least some scraps on the weekends.
I'll also group them together based on category for optimal viewing pleasure.

Yeah, I've kinda been obsessed with Conker for quite a while. It's been a long time since I've had anything to do with him. D:
It's all thanks to my brother who, once again, brought a game home from his friend's house... and that game was Conker's Bad Fur Day.
When he brought "that thing" (my words) home, I totally shunned it. Seriously, you've never seen me shun anything like that before. If my shunning was a vat of hot boiling acid, it'd be all melted and melty like. :3
It's all because of my oder brother... D:

When I was little I heard that a new Conker game had come out. I was all over Conker since I got Diddy Kong Racing for the N64 a coupla years ago for Christmas, so I was really excited to hear that his own game was coming out. I told my brother about it, and he told me how bad it was. VERY, VERY BAD~! D:
He told me I should never play it as long as I live... especially since it was an "adult" game. (rawr. it's only 'M', How bad could it be?)
Then, a few years since then (a few weeks ago), my kid brother comes home from his friend's house with it and showed it to my brother. And you wanna know the first thing he said? "OMGILUVTHATGAME~!"
So that made me mad. How he went on and on about how bad that was, and he was off playing it somewhere. B|
It's a good thing I gave it a second chance, though. Coz now it's my favorite game. 8DDDD;;;

Yuss, I liek 'Live and Reloaded'. The graphics are pretty. :]
I don't like how they changed a few things... but some things have been changed for the better. 8D

So, yuss. Anyways, you can expect some kinda sketchy scrap thingies of Conker stuff from me, I guess... Man, I love those little SHC squirrels. They so cute~! ;___;
